Every caseworker has seen it: a family finally gets housing, but the old apartment is full of furniture they can’t move or afford to have hauled. A senior needs a cleanout before a transition. A move-out deadline is three days away. Freemoval exists for exactly those moments.
When LoadUp customers check out, they can round up their total to fund Freemoval. That fund pays for junk removal and cleanouts, at standard LoadUp rates, for families referred by organizations like yours. We never ask the family for income documents. Your referral is the eligibility check.

You submit the request
Sign in at partners.freemoval.org and enter the family’s details, the service needed, and any deadline. Add photos if you have them. It takes about two minutes.

We review within a few business days
We confirm the address is in our service area, check for hazardous materials, estimate the cost, and make sure the fund covers it. You get an email with the decision.

LoadUp schedules with the family
Our team contacts the family directly to book a time that works. The assigned loader is briefed ahead of time so they arrive prepared and respectful.

The job gets done
Usable items are donated whenever possible. When the job closes you get an email, your portal updates, and the family’s pickup shows up on the public impact dashboard, anonymized.
Refer families you know are in need. We trust your judgment. That is the whole point of working through partners instead of applications.
Get the family’s permission before sharing their information with us.
Tell us about deadlines and circumstances, like a move-out date, stairs, pets, or a health concern, so we can prioritize correctly and brief the loader.
Help us reach the family if we have trouble connecting with them.
· One-time service. Each family can use Freemoval once.
· Two services. Junk removal and cleanouts. Not moving, not storage, not hazardous waste.
· Service area. Metro Atlanta today: North Fulton, Cobb, Cherokee, Gwinnett, and Forsyth counties, expanding as funding allows.
· Fund-based. Every pickup is paid at standard LoadUp rates from the round-up fund, so scheduling depends on available funds. When funds are tight, housing deadlines come first, then health and safety, then everything else.
· Privacy. Family details are only visible to your organization and the Freemoval team.

Is there any cost to our organization?
No. Pickups are paid from the Freemoval fund at standard LoadUp rates. There are no fees, contracts, or minimums for referral partners.
Do we have to verify income?
No. You know your clients. Your referral is the eligibility check, which is why we only accept requests through trusted partners rather than open applications.
What if the fund runs low?
Approved requests are scheduled in priority order: housing deadlines first, then health and safety, then everything else, and by date received within each tier. If a family has to wait, we tell you, and you can see the status in your portal.
Can several people at our organization have logins?
Yes. Tell us who needs access and we will set up a login for each person. Everyone at your organization sees the same list of requests.
Who actually shows up at the home?
An independent loader on the LoadUp marketplace, the same professionals who serve paying LoadUp customers. We brief them ahead of time using the notes you provide, so they arrive prepared and treat the family with respect.
