Freemoval is open about how the program works, what we're testing, and what the data shows, including the parts that don't look good.

The mechanics of the round-up program, the relationship between Freemoval and LoadUp, the methodology behind our impact dashboard, our approach to municipal and housing partnerships, and our reading of the broader illegal dumping research literature.
For partner-specific questions, we'll defer to the partner organization unless they've cleared us to comment.
Reconciled program account totals (the dashboard data, plus underlying transaction-level records on request). LoadUp's aggregated pricing data by metro, used for our cost-of-prevention claims. Citations and methodology notes for our public statistics, including the ones we wish we could find better data on.
We don't identify individual subsidized-pickup recipients, partner property addresses without partner consent, or LoadUp loader earnings data at the individual level. We're happy to discuss aggregate figures and the program's structure.
If you're writing a quick piece and need the one-paragraph version: Freemoval is a social impact program of LoadUp, the nationwide junk removal marketplace, that subsidizes free pickups for households in communities where illegal dumping is concentrated. The program is funded primarily by optional round-ups at LoadUp checkout, with 100% of round-ups going directly to subsidized job costs. The thesis is that illegal dumping is a logistics problem, not a behavior problem, and that supply-side intervention (free pickups at the moment of need) prevents dumping more efficiently than demand-side enforcement (cameras, fines, PSAs).
